Eric is a certified personal trainer and is the co-author of the Uniquest National Fitness Training Certification manual whose West Coast Director of Training is 3x Mr. Olympia, Frank ZaneEric has been successfully involved in the fitness industry for over 20 years. His experience has run the gamut from gym and health facility management, staff dietitian, high school strength and conditioning coach, club membership and supplement sales, and of course personalized fitness training and consulting.

The integral part of successfully providing insights and enthusiasm to others through fitness has also given him great pleasure and pride in witnessing the transformation and achievement of others/  Most recent notable clients include the 1997 Muscle Media and EAS Grand spokesperson Champion Porter Freeman and Calvin Klein/Men's Health Magazine cover model Scott King.  Eric has also accomplished major transformations with clients from remote locations by utilizing phone guidance with well established training methods.

Success Stories of Scott King, Scott Hall, Porter Freeman and More!

Calvin Klein Model Scott King

Scott King
Calvin Klein Model
Thanks to Eric, I developed safe and effective workout routines and a simple approach to nutrition that is easy to follow and understand.  I was lucky to have a trainer like Eric, with so much knowledge and desire to help me reach my fitness goals and stay in shape for my important shoots like Men's Health Magazine."  Scott King was a former Calvin Klein ESCAPE Model and is recognized as one of the leading male models in the world.

Brent Undjhem
Brent Undjhem, and his wife Barbara,  posed a unique experience for me, long distance training.  Living in Florida I was over 2,000 miles away from the Undjhems' home in Utah. We communicated via phone for consultations and inspiration.  Needless to say both Brent and his wife made a remarkable transition in only 84 days! They were top ten finalists in the Sprint Component of the 1999 EAS Body of Work Challenge.

WWF and WCW Star
I would like to thank Eric for helping me develop and maintain the body that is so vital to my line of work.  Through my career I have had the opportunity to view many personal trainers and I have to say that Eric's approach stands head and shoulders above the rest.  It is an honor to have worked with a fellow professional that understands the importance of and the path to a fit and well developed body.

Josh Prokes
"Although I have trained for many years, Eric's proven methodology redefined the concept and myth of spending countless hours in the gym.  Without his guidance and expertise I could never have achieved this level of physique development"

Josh was a Top Ten Finalist in the EAS Sprint Component of the 1999 EAS Body of Work Challenge in which over 700,000 entrants participated.

EAS Champion Porter Freeman and Keith May

Keith May
"Last year, 1998, I was 42 years old and felt like I was 62, out of shape and no energy.  I started going to the gym to try and improve myself.  Doing what everybody else was doing, with little results.  I met Porter Freeman, the 1997 EAS Champion there and saw for myself some hope.  He introduced me to Eric Shrieves.  In 84 days he brought me back to life, I could not believe it.  I feel 20 years old.  I'm 43 now but still feel 20.  Thanks to Eric! I followed his programs he set up for me, always monitoring me and truly cared about my results.  I can not thank him enough.  He truly knows his business.  He is truly a champion maker!"

Porter Freeman
EAS Champion
When  Porter Freeman approached me back in February of '97 he was a typical "couch potato", weighing 240 pounds at 27% body fat.  Porter's famous quote was, "he was sick and tired of being sick and tired."  The challenge posed by Bill Phillips of EAS served as the catalyst to spark an amazing transformation.  Having known Porter for 20 years, I was well aware of his incredible character and determination.  It was this combination that would not let anything stand in the way of his vision.  While I'll always be proud of his accomplishments in the gym, I am far more proud to call him my friend---Eric Shrieves.
